Trinchero Family Estates (Sutter Home)

Wine is synonymous with history. Look into any ancient text and you’re bound to find a reference to the blood of the vine. This legacy, however, comes with certain limitations of “what wine should be”, and has thus kept wine aficionados from fully embracing wine clubs and wine-related web sites.

This was the issue for Trinchero Family Estates, a family-owned California wine company that offers wines under Sutter Home, Trinchero, MonteVina, Folie a Deux, Menage a Trois, Reynolds, and many other brands. Although successful with their traditional bottled products, Trinchero needed to generate interest for their wine clubs and web sites.

Passing a Virtual Bottle

Understanding that wine clubs weren’t yet widely embraced, we devised and launched a test marketing campaign to promote Trinchero’s wine clubs. In addition, we penetrated web communities to generate conversations about Trinchero’s brands, and got opinions about the wine clubs.
