William Gaultier, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), co-founder

William Gaultier has more than 19 years of corporate and consulting experience. As CEO, William leads the company’s marketing, research and new business development efforts, and works directly with clients on corporate and interactive marketing strategies. In the last 11 years as CEO of e-storm, William has led business and interactive marketing strategies for more than 100 organizations worldwide including Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Microsoft, Leading Hotels of the World, Verizon, Design within Reach, National University, SelectQuote, ABC Family, Shogakukan, Air Canada, and Relais & Chateaux.

Prior to starting e-storm, William worked at The Hoffman Agency, where he built the firm’s interactive marketing practice servicing clients’ online marketing and public relations needs. William worked at BBDO (White & Company) where he advised clients including Victoria’s Secret, IKON Office Solutions, Access Health, and The Limited in online marketing. Prior to that, he co-led the regional public relations and marketing communications for Thomson Multimedia in Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, and Vietnam. William began his career in 1990 at Northern Trust Corporation, leading marketing activities for the company.

William has keynoted, moderated or spoken at a number of prominent industry events, including Keynote Speaker at Yahoo! Internal Social Media & Search Conference, Moderator of the Social Media Buyer’s Guide Panel – Web 2.0 Expo, and Moderator of L’Association des Professionels de l’Internet. William has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, Reuters.com, Inc Magazine, Fast Company and the San Francisco Business Times. He has served/serves on the boards of Travelpod.com (a TripAdvisor Company), ChoiceBot.com, and Tango Marketing.

William graduated from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a BS in Marketing. William is fluent in a number of languages, including a working knowledge of Mandarin Chinese. William is a native of France. William lives to travel, share experiences with family and friends. His favorite expression is “life is too short for bad food, bad wine, and…” you didn’t think we would go there?

Nancy Riveong, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), co-founder

Nancy has more than 15 years experience in international marketing on both the corporate and agency sides. As CFO, Nancy leads the company’s finance and administration teams, ensuring that the agency has the requisite resources to grow and support the agency’s clients.

Before launching e-storm, Nancy was a web design and marketing consultant in the online education space, working for KaosPilot University in Denmark where she was responsible for the university’s image and marketing efforts in San Francisco. Nancy’s other clients included CITI Translations and Tsuchiya Sloneker Communications. Nancy was also a co-founder of ProNetshares, a San Francisco-based computer-system-integration company, whose clients included the San Francisco Transportation Authority, San Francisco Archdiocese, MRI Research, and Revenue Magazine. Her responsibilities included management of new business development, marketing communications, and client programs.

Nancy graduated from Franklin College (Switzerland) with a BA in International Relations. Nancy is a native of Indonesia, and a martial arts expert.

Ronald Wagner, President and Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Ronald has almost 20 years of experience, the majority of which has been specifically focused in the online marketing services sector. As President and Chief Operating Officer, Ronald leads the company’s operations, growth management (including international expansion), and client management.

Previously, Ronald was President of online performance-based marketing company PartnerWeekly, where Ronald had full P&L responsibility and helped double revenues Y-on-Y, and grow the company into the foremost online lead generation brand in the financial services market. Ronald was previously CEO of Clear Ink, a digital agency where he led the dramatic turnaround of the agency by, in part, building a digital strategy expertise that attracted clients including Bell Sports, Philips Electronics, and Autodesk. Ronald was an early investor in, and member of the board of Spyonit.com, which was acquired by 724 Solutions in 2000.

In the early 1990’s, Ronald founded one of the first pure interactive agencies, Ironlight Digital, which, following a merger with Novo Media, was acquired by Publicis (NYSE:PUB) and is now Arc Worldwide. During his time at Ironlight, Ronald led online marketing strategy development for clients including: Disney Channel, the Emmy Awards, Lotus, HP, Sony, Discovery Channel, and the USDA. Ronald is founder and Chairman of milesandpoints.com (est. 1999) funded by Internet.Com Venture Fund II. Ronald is currently on the Board of Directors of publicly-traded Lenco Mobile.

Ronald has been a presenter at the E3 and Internet World conferences, and has been featured in articles relating to the Internet and technology in several publications, including USA Today, Wired, and the Baltimore Sun.

Ronald holds a BA in English from Lewis & Clark College, and earned his MBA in International Business from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. Ronald has lived and worked in some of the world’s great cities, including Tokyo, Helsinki, Chicago, and San Francisco.

Daniel Riveong, Director of Marketing Services

Daniel has over 10 years of experience in the online marketing space, across website design, search engine marketing, and viral marketing. As Director of Marketing Services, Daniel is responsible for ensuring the continued innovation and integration across e-storm’s marketing services…from market research to search marketing and display marketing.

Prior to his current position, Daniel was the Director of Search Engine Marketing for e-storm, where he has lead and managed search marketing campaigns for Wells Fargo & Co, Sutter Home Winery, and National University. Daniel was a web developer for a number of early online businesses before moving on to interactive marketing, where he developed the SEO recommendations for promoting Hewlett-Packard Asia’s Y2K Bug expertise.

Daniel is a recognized and sought-after domain expert on the effects of social media on marketing. His writing at blog Emergence-Media.com is syndicated by SocialMediaToday, and have also appeared on the ad:tech Blog. Daniel is a frequent participant in industry conferences, and has been a featured speaker at the HispanicNet and Social Media Marketing Summits.

Daniel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from San Francisco State University. When Daniel is not thinking about online marketing, he enjoys good bourbon, reading up on Russian literature, and eating chicken fried steak at Orphan Andy’s in San Francisco.
